Galvanized steel pipe production lines convert mild steel strip into corrosion‑resistant welded pipes for water, gas, and structural applications. Shijiazhuang Faith Machinery Co.,Ltd supplies turnkey lines that integrate forming, welding, galvanizing, and finishing processes.
Line Components
Uncoiler & Leveler: Decoils galvanized strip and flattens it without damaging the zinc coating.
Roll Forming Section: Progressive roll stands shape strip into a cylindrical form, maintaining tight dimensional control.
ERW Welding Unit: High‑frequency induction welder joins edges with minimal heat‑affected zone to reduce coating burn‑off.
Post‑Weld Cooling & Bead Removal: Water spray cools the weld seam, and scarfing knives remove excess weld bead.
Galvanizing Module (Optional): For lines using pre‑galvanized strip, an in‑line spray unit replenishes any coating lost at the weld seam.
Sizing & Cutting: Calibration stands refine tube geometry; flying saws cut finished pipes to length, from 1 m to 8 m.
Quality Assurance
Inline ultrasonic weld inspection detects laminations or voids, while eddy‑current probes identify surface defects. Dimensional gauges ensure diameter and wall thickness tolerances are met. A marking station applies production codes and dimensions for traceability.
Customization and Capacities
Pipes from Ø20 mm to Ø114 mm and wall thicknesses from 0.8 mm to 4 mm are accommodated. Line speeds up to 60 m/min produce up to 2,000 t/month, depending on pipe size. Modular layouts allow addition of hydrostatic testing or end‑forming units.
Maintenance and Support
Faith Machinery’s after‑sales team provides line commissioning, operator and maintenance training, and preventive maintenance schedules. Spare parts—induction coil modules, weld roll assemblies, scarfing knives—are stocked to minimize downtime.
