Cold cutting saw: In the process of metal sawing, the heat generated by the saw blade sawing the workpiece is transferred to the sawdust through the sawtooth, and the sawed workpiece and saw blade remain cool.
Hot saw: Commonly known as chopping saw, computer flying saw, also known as friction saw. With high speed cutting accompanied by high temperature and sparks, the cutting end face is purple, with many burrs.
Accuracy
Cold cutting saw: ±2.0mm, repeated precision of the same specification ± 0.5mm, no secondary sizing, saving process and raw materials.
Hot saw: ±2.5mm, most of them need offline secondary sizing cutting, which wastes human energy and raw materials.
Cutting quality
Cold cutting saw: The burr inside and outside is very small, the milling surface is flat and smooth, and no subsequent treatment is required, which saves the process and raw materials.
Hot saw: The internal and external burrs are large, and subsequent treatment such as flat head chamfering is required, which increases the cost of human energy and raw materials.
